Products list: My name is Simon and I would like to tell all puddies out there about the boarding cattery where I live. I was 'The Unwanted until I arrived here at the owners of Chilton Lodge Cattery. I am now the Concierge for the cattery - to puddies who dont know what that is its the Puddy who does the meet and greet to guests when they arrive. Opened in 1990 it can accommodate up to 25 cats and no canine critters. We have cosy and comfortable individual units and you are booked into the unit most appropriate for you. As we cats are, by nature, generally solitary animals, individual cages are great for our own space. It also makes it easier for the Boss to monitor what goes in and out. Cages have a cute name tag so the Boss and I always know your name it does make you feel part of everything. The cages have neat little cubby holes for you to retire into, with warm snuggly beds and in winter you get hot water bottles! As you become more confident about being away from you mum and dad you can move into the larger cages. We are not a big flash cattery but we make up for it with a very caring environment. People are in and out all day so no one is lonely, the radio going helps keep up on the news of the day. Cages are cleaned between 7 and 8am and if youre feeling confident you can wander out and about around the cattery with some of the other cats that the Boss thinks you will get on with. After this its return to your cage, clean and fresh, to have breakfast. Lunch is usually a top-up of the yummy dry food that we get. Dinner is at 5pm and Lights out is between 8 8.30 pm. Its a bit like boarding school, really. The menu consists of a combination of Nutro dry food (its all natural ingredients) and, wet food which consists of: Gourmet, Dine, Fancy Feast, steak, chicken and yummy treats. Special diet thats OK too. Im in and out most days to chat or sometimes just hop in my basket and have a snooze as I enjoy the environment in the cattery thats when Im not out catventuring. If you do decide to come visit us remember to get your owner to make sure your vaccination is up to date as well as your flea and worm treatments. Bring a favourite cuddly so it feels a little like home (ensure that your staff have it freshly clean and not too large). Remember: All makes and models are most welcome. Our rate is $10.00 per day per cat - charged the day you arrive to the day you leave inclusive. As of Xmas 2007 I have a new trainee concierge her name is Emma she is still quite young at the moment for duty on her own, so she just assists me to say Hi to everyone - but when she grows up she will be able to help out with the meet and greet. (She was not treated the best when she was little which is why she ended up with my Boss). The Boss says: Please feel free to give her a call and make a time suitable to visit.
