Their new offices on the corner of Paora Hapi and Gascoigne Streets is evidence of this. Company Principal Alan Vane says the recent move from Horomatangi Street reflects the direction in which the company is moving. Le Pine Co simply outgrew the former premises and with 19 staff members, inadequate parking and no lift access, the decision was made to relocate. In 2003, the firm celebrated 50 years of continuous services to clients in the Central North Island area. While other firms have come and gone through this time, Le Pine Co has been a constant presence, acting for many of the original settler families. In many ways the growth of Le Pine Co and Taupo and the Central Plateau have paralleled each other. Today Le Pine Co is the largest and the most specialised provider of legal services in the Taupo district, and is a member of NZ LAW, an association of 50 independent legal practices throughout New Zealand.
