Established in the late 80s we manufacture quality handmade kayaking and watersports gear in New Zealand. We are New Zealands leading kayak clothing brand and all our gear is designed and made by paddlers for paddlers. We manufacture buoyancy vests, sprayskirts and waterproof jackets as well as selling Kokatat (dry tops, suits and paddle jackets), Astral (buoyancy vests),Vajda (slalom kayaks) and Solution (wing and slalom paddles). The company is run by Andy Fuller who has 28+ years of worldwide kayak experience and 16+ years in the industry. Andy was NZ slalom champ from 97 to 2001 as well as being national DR champion in sprint, NZ raft champion and double world champs medallist, national slalom coach and an accomplished multisport competitor. Athletes who choose our products include Team Orion adventure, Nikki Kelly (extreme racer and rodeo), Mike Dawson (NZ slalom champ, WW extreme race winner), Marnie Fornusek (NZ slalom, down river and sprint paddler), Johann Roozenburg (NZ slalom team, Wairoa extreme race winner), Aaron Osborne (Slalom team), Matt Blakey (NZ sailing team), Graham Charles (adventurer), Cameron Drury (NZ Down river team and multisport champion) and many other kayakers, sailors, outriggers, wakeboarders and multisporters. We offer exceptional support to our customers and retail shops and supply some of the best brands in the World. We use premium neoprene in our sprayskirts and safety is paramount in the production of our buoyancy vests. We recycle as much waste material as possible and proudly support the volunteer organisations that run New Zealand kayaking and keep our rivers free flowing.
